Delhi- Mumbai Expressway
The travel distance between Delhi and Mumbai will be reduced from 1,424 km to 1,242 km and the travel time will be reduced by 50 percent from 24 hours to 12 hours. Its Sohna-Dausa-Lalsot section was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 12. Delhi Mumbai Expressway will pass through Rajasthan, MP, Maharashtra and other states. When this mega-expressway is fully operational, the distance between Delhi and Mumbai will be only 12 hours. It is expected to be completed by 2024. Dholera Ahmedabad Expressway
21 percent of the 109 km long Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway had been completed by January 2023. It is expected to be completed by January 2024. It is a unique expressway in the country. Its width is 120 meters. 90 meters of this will be an expressway and a 30 meters wide strip will be built as a Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS). This means that in the future you will see cars and high speed trains running together on this expressway. The Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway project will cost a total of Rs 4200 crore.
Amritsir Jamanagar Express way
It will be a major route connecting Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat. This expressway will connect the major industrial and agricultural centers of North India with the West Indian ports of Kandla and Jamnagar. Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari had said that this expressway would be opened by September 2023. Due to this expressway, the travel time between Amritsar-Jamnagar will be halved. The distance from the expressway will be reduced to about 1224 km and the time will be 13 hours.
Dhwarka Express Way
Dwarka Expressway is being constructed under the Bharatmala project in the National Capital Region (NCR) at a cost of around 9 thousand crore rupees. 29 km long Dwarka Expressway (Dwarka Expressway NH-248BB) is the first elevated urban expressway of the country. In this, flyovers are being built on top of flyovers. It is a 16-lane access-controlled expressway. There will be at least three lanes service road on both sides.
Varnasi Kolkata Express way
Varanasi–Kolkata Expressway, also known as Varanasi–Ranchi–Kolkata Expressway, is an approved 610 km long, six-lane, greenfield access-controlled expressway, which will connect the holy city of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh with the capital of West Bengal, Kolkata, through the capital of Jharkhand, Ranchi.
